Shipping Policy

Free shipping to The Continental United States for a limited time.


Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on back-order or unavailable we will reach out to you via e-mail. Once your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will ship the order. 


Order Shipment:

Many items ship Next Day (if ordered by 11am CST, Monday-Friday) unless otherwise posted on the product page. Transit times will vary, but delivery should be expected within 2-5 business days after receiving your tracking email.

All other items should ship within 2-7 business days of your order date unless otherwise noted. Transit times vary depending on location, but you should expect delivery within 2-12 business days of your order. 

We will ship your order using the fastest and most reliable method. Generally, our smaller, lighter items will ship via FedEx or UPS. Larger, heavier products ship via a truck freight carrier. Ex: Yellow Freight, Roadway, or FedEx Freight.

We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provide when checking out.

We encourage you to track your package online or on the phone with the carrier. Most companies can provide an estimated delivery date. Be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the progress of the shipment.

FedEx & UPS Shipments:

Our smaller, lighter products ship via FedEX or UPS. Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your item will arrive between 2 and 5 business days after it leaves the warehouse. FedEx and UPS do not typically require a signature and will leave the package in a suitable place near your door.

Freight Truck Carrier Shipments:

Larger, heavier items or packages ship via freight carrier. As defined by the trucking industry, Home Delivery means "curbside delivery" in a residential area. You may need assistance to move the package indoors or you might unbox the shipment and carry each piece inside individually. Some drivers will assist in getting a shipment into a garage or carport. 

Every residential delivery will include lift gate service so the product can be removed from the truck and placed on your property.

For Truck Freight shipments, delivery usually takes between 3 and 7 business days from when your order leaves the warehouse. When your shipment arrives at a nearby terminal, you will be contacted by the freight carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. Most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

"NOTE: The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that when you sign for the delivery you are legally accepting the product as delivered in good condition. Therefore, it is extremely important that you inspect the product prior to signing the delivery receipt. If there is damage to the carton or the product, please write "CONTENTS DAMAGED" clearly on the delivery receipt that the driver is asking you to sign, then sign. This ensures that your damage issue will be easily resolved."

Receiving Your Shipment:

We are committed to making sure you are satisfied with our products. Your order is inspected prior to shipment to ensure all items are in excellent condition before they leave our facilities. Although our products are packaged securely to prevent any damage it's possible that in rare cases, damages may occur during shipment.

Before signing for the shipment inspect the carton and contents. You should have a knife, hammer, pry bar and wire cutters on hand to help open the carton. Should you notice any damage, please note it on the bill of lading, refuse the shipment and contact us immediately.

NOTE: We cannot be held responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged items if there is no notation on the freight delivery receipt. 


Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make a note on the delivery receipt “CARTON DAMAGED” when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) arrived damaged please send photos to info@themodernspa.com immediately and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

Return Policy

The Modern Spa is committed to providing the best customer service in the industry. Our goal is to make your shopping experience as stress-free as possible and ensure that you are 100% happy with your purchase. We will do our best to satisfy your requirements.

The Modern Spa offers a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee return policy (*some exclusions apply)

If you want to return an item, please send an email to info@TheModernSpa.com.

Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the receipt of your product.  The product must be returned unopened in the original packaging.

We do not accept returns of used products.  You should also provide us with a receipt of your purchase and a reason for returning the item.

Please note that you cannot return an item without a valid return authorization number.  

You (the customer) are responsible for return shipping to the address given at the time you receive your RMA. In addition, there will be a 10% restocking fee on all returned products.

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned product, TheModernSpa.com will issue a refund for the full amount (minus restocking fees) to the credit card used for the purchase only.

** SaunaCore  brand products are built to order and we do not except returns or exchanges on this brand.


    Cancellations

    All orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a $50 administration fee whether or not your order has shipped.  If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges and restocking fees. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
